- -About the Unit:This role will be housed in central Illinois,
specifically Springfield, IL to support projects off campus in
rural sites. Additional travel to neighboring towns and cities may
be necessary for data collection.Annual travel to Chicago may be
required for initial onboarding and project retreatsJob Summary:The
Research Assistant will assist the PI and the Research Coordinators
with day-to-day operations of funded projects that involve working
with people who use drugs. The candidate will report to the Manager
of Implementation Research. Funded projects include harm reduction
interventions for substance use and overdose prevention, linkage to
primary care, substance use treatment, and infectious disease
screening and treatment.
