TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified RNFA RN in Belleville, Illinois, 62226 Pay Information $3,164 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) Job Specialty: Operating Room Nurse Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (06:45 - 19:15); Day 4x10-Hour (06:45 - 17:15) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours Experience: Acute Inpatient OR/Outpatient OR/Surgery Cases/Vascular License: State License required (Illinois license needed if residing there) Certifications: BLS, RNFA required Must-Have: EPIC charting experience, Surgical First Assistant skills, and experience in acute inpatient OR/outpatient OR settings Job Description: - Work various shifts, including 10 and/or 12-hour shifts depending on departmental needs, with regular on-call responsibility. - Participate in call rotations covering weekends and evenings. - May be required to float to nearby campuses, though this is a rare occurrence. - Expertise in handling surgical cases including endo/laparoscopic, robotics, trauma/amputations, urology, and more. - Proficiency in aseptic techniques, instrument processing, isolation precautions, and sterilization/disinfection. - Demonstrates a strong foundation in surgical specialties such as orthopedics, urology, thoracic, general surgery, vascular, ENT, GYN, colorectal, and neuro spine. - Ability to handle high volumes in specialties like orthopedic, urology, thoracic, general, and vascular. - Participation in a structured orientation program comprising 40 hours of training. - Willingness to engage in the necessary privileging process, which may take 2-3 months to complete. - Completion of pre-start modules through designated systems before the start of the assignment. 26703073EXPTEMP Job Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing Adapting to new environments, team dynamics, and patient populations fosters adaptability.
