  • Functions within the scope of nursing preparation and consistent with the established guidelines of nursing practice, the Missouri Nurse Practice Act, Mercy Code of Conduct, Mercy Mission and Values and Mercy Service Standards
  • Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care for patient post trauma, surgical interventions and medical conditions

    • Job Requirements
    • Current RN License (Meets the criteria to be eligible for licensure in state of Missouri or currently licensed in the state of Missouri)
    • BLS from AHA only
    • 1 year Med Surg
    • Float Requirements: as needed, to a similar or lower acuity unit
      • Schedule Information
      • Shift: Nights, 19:00-07:30
      • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 - must be indicated on submission form
      • Assignment Length: 13 weeks
      • Weekend Hours: As required by facility / every other weekend
      • Call Requirements: None
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Number of Beds: 60
        • Patient Ratios: 1:5/6. We do not guarantee ratios. Careful consideration is given depending on the circumstance
        • Equipment: Bladder scanner, vein finder, IV pumps, wound vacs
        • EMR: EPIC
        • Must Have Skills/Experience: 1 year Med Surg, inpatient only
        • Preferred Skillset/Experience:
        • Type of Patients on Unit: Medical
        • Personality Fit: Teamwork, dependable, flexible
        • Scrub Color: Black
        • Any unacceptable attire: anything other than above.
